Following the exercise of identifying those who are in need, one way to unlock people’s potential is to challenge them to fulfill their purpose of life. This goes further to identify their giftedness. Individual giftedness is the inner potential every human being possesses. Sometimes, we may be tempted to ignore what others possess when there is much focus on big dreams. Yet the big dream cannot be realized without the contribution of all stakeholders. In the case of sustainable community transformation, there is need for inclusivity of families and their capabilities.
A lesson from Scripture, “The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed that someone took and sowed in his field; 32 it is the smallest of all the seeds, but when it has grown it is the greatest of shrubs and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air come and make nests in its branches” (Matthew 13:31-32). This means that we should treasure every individual’s ability and upscale their capabilities. Think of that family member who is left at home to manage it.. How much appreciation do they receive? What if you returned home and you found them absent?
CALISCO counts on sustainable family transformation where talents are nurtured and where inclusivity in diversity is celebrated.Today, have a strategy of nurturing talents in your family.
