Are you worried about the future of your children?

There is a tendency of parents wanting to be sure of the future of their children. As much as this concern is good, it may not be granted. What is possible is to prepare and expose children to a variety of opportunities for them to stand a high chance of succeeding in life. On the other hand, children should be allowed to surprise the community when they become who they were created to be. Consider the case of the naming of John the Baptist when the elders opposed that the child should not be called John. The elders were shocked when Zechariah his father confirmed the name by writing, “All who heard them pondered them and said, ‘What then will this child become?’ For, indeed, the hand of the Lord was with him” (Luke 1:66)
As the beauty of a garden is witnessed when flowers blossom, so too is the success of the community when children blossom. What is expected is to plant good seeds in families whose fruits will be witnessed when the children blossom. Thus, what is required in the present is to make sure children receive holistic care.
CALISCO advocates for a patient attitude towards the growth and development of children. At the same time, it encourages parents to acquire necessary skills to help them support children in dealing with their anxieties. It gets worse when parents are the cause of anxiety in the child’s life when, even in the most difficult situation, parents should remain as the trusted pillars to their children. Today, every child has different levels of struggle in facing their own challenges. CALISCO is ready to empower parents and children to deal with their anxieties.
